We just picked the houseboat up at the marina and found this nice spot to settle down for the week. It was nice, sandy shore line. One of the best spots we can remember.
Macy with her boating glasses...thanks Aubrey!!!
Macy with Mom and Dad. We spent a few hours going out and exploring some canyons in Lake Powell.
Of course we had plenty of people to watch Macy.
Macy with Great Grandma and Uncle Brandon.
Macy chill in with Great Grandma and Grandpa.
Here are some pictures of the main channel at Lake Powell. Lake Powell is so big it actually has mile markers.
We decided to explore the San Juan river. This is one of the biggest rivers that feed into Lake Powell.
We found a nice inlet that we were able to park the boats and go hiking and exploring.
Brandon and Rebecca. Brandon is holding the rock for all of us to pass under.
After our almost 4 mile hike round trip, we headed back to the houseboat. We were all hot and tired, that we decided to pull off next to the canyon wall and jump in the water to get refreshed.
We decided to put Macy in her life jacket and let her float with Mom and Dad. She did great and loved the water.
On our way back, we found a rock that was just on the surface of the water. We decided this would be a great photo.
We have Mike and Lindsey, Brandon and Rebecca, and Kaleb and Chelsey.
Macy and mom in the boat.
Macy had an exhausting day. Fell asleep with Great Grandpa.
The next morning Del and Mike were on the breakfast grub duties. Grandpa's famous pancakes, and I had the eggs and sausage duty. Glad I don't have to clean up.
The last day of the trip we had to get some tubing and wake boarding in.
Chelsey and Kaleb on the tubes.
Now the wakeboard crew...
Way to go Joni!!
Kaleb on the board.
Rebecca...
Lindsey...
And last but not least, Mike...
We had such a great time, and it always goes by too fast.
