Lindsey and I just celebrated our 6 year anniversary. We drove down to Canon City to have dinner on the Royal Gorge Railroad.
We had our own table, and they had our menu with a nice "welcome aboard" at the top. The view we had was of the Arkansas river. It was a gorgeous evening.
There was an open cart on the train. It was nice to get some fresh air and take in the sights of the canyon.
Here we are approaching the Royal Gorge suspension bridge.
We then headed back inside our cart where we are about to enjoy are meal.
We both had the prime rib, with potatoes, and steamed asparagus...I will let you be the judge of the plate.
And next, dessert...triple chocolate mousse.
The trip took about 3 hours round trip.
